Research Position - Image Compression on Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Arrays

I work on a team that develops applications on reconfigurable computing platforms. Currently working to implement an H.264 encoder on the Ambric Processor Array

I worked on a camera interface application that took analog composite video and set it up for digital video compression on FPGA. Also worked on a Video compression project.

Organizing committee of Physics, Mathematics, and Electronics Symposium, Editor of ECE department magazine. Design team of department website. Won several awards in national level inter-collegiate competitions in JAM, drama, elocution, and debate. Directed 3 plays for the Chettinad Players theater group.
 

High School: School captain, editor of student newsletter, dramatics, elocution, debating, two-time recipient of the ‘All-Rounder of the Year’ award.

 C, C++, Verilog RTL descriptions. Experience working with most FPGA vendor tools, Cadence tools.
